What exactly is Rangers?
 
Rangers is an outdoor camping program for primary aged children.
It's a whole life program that disciples and mentors children in today's
fast paced society.
 
 
 
Wallabies are Rangers in years 1 and 2
 
 
  Stockhands are Rangers in years 3 and 4
 
 
 
and Pioneers are in years 5 and 6.
 
 
What do Rangers do?
 
Each week Rangers participate in games, devotions and parades, as well as
learning important life skills including camping, bush craft, first aid,
health, cooking and citizenship.
Plus we go on weekend camps or hikes at least
once a term.
 
 
When do Rangers meet?
 
Rangers meet once a week on a Thursday evening between
6.30.p.m. and 8.00.p.m. during the school term.
 
 
Where do Rangers meet?
 
At the House of Praise Christian Fellowship
Tathra St. West Gosford.
 
 
 
Who runs Gosford Rangers?
 
Gosford Rangers is an activity of the House of Praise Christian Fellowship.
Our trained leaders are committed and enthusiastic Adults who love
working with children and have subjected themselves to rigorous
Government screening procedures.

Membership.
 
Subject to places being available, membership of Gosford Rangers is open to any
primary aged child who is willing to take and live by the Ranger Pledge.
 
Ranger Pledge:  With God's help I will do my best so serve God.
my Church and my fellow man, to live by the Ranger Code
and make the golden rule my daily rule.
 
Ranger Motto:  "Ready"
 Ready for anything.
Ready to work, play, serve, obey, worship and live.
Ready for the return of the Lord.
 
 
What do Rangers wear?
 
Rangers wear a navy blue polo shirt embroidered with the Rangers logo.
You'll also wear a bolo tie and a vest to display your badges and activity patches.
A navy blue cap or broad brim navy hat and dark grey shorts complete the Ranger Uniform.
 
Is Rangers bigger than just our group?
 
Absolutely, Rangers runs in more than 70 countries around the World.
Ranger groups run right across Australia too.  There are State and District
camps and activity days that run each year. A Ranger of the year program that operates State-wide.
Plus "Camporama"  which is held every four years and is for Rangers all over the world.
